Members of the Boys & Girls Club of the San Gorgonio Pass have a new project they're proud of-- a new community garden they've helped create.
The organization was scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon for its new community garden, installed at Brookside Elementary School.
The ceremony was slated for 3 p.m. at the garden site, 38755 Brookside Ave.
Club members have been participating in an environmental education program to learn conservation, the origin of food, how to compost, what comprises organic food and how to garden according to the seasons, officials said.
