Chance of Afternoon Thunderstorms Again Tuesday

Sub-tropical moisture will bring the chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms again Tuesday in and above the San Gorgonio Pass, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service advised Tuesday morning of the chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms again in and below the mountains of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, including the San Gorgonio Pass area.

"Mid-level sub-tropical moisture will continue to spread into Southern California today," the Weather Service advised. "Expect a chance for thunderstorms over the mountains and deserts from early afternoon through the evening.

"Although most activity will be limited to the higher terrain, isolated storms may also form over the Inland Empire," a Weather Service update said.
