Banning, Beaumont Residents Asked to Weigh in On Proposed Pass Transit Route Changes

Pass residents are encouraged to head out to one of two upcoming public workshops on proposed route changes for the local bus system.

Beaumont city officials tell Patch that there are proposals for new routes-- and some cuts on the table as well.

"As part of our 10-year comprehensive operations analysis, we look at current demographics, current needs of the community, projected demographics, projected needs of the community and review/update best practices," Beaumont transit officials told Patch in an email.

There is one workshop scheduled in Banning, and another in Beaumont.   Both are slated to run from noon through 7 p.m.

Here are the locations and dates:

  • Wednesday, March 26:  Banning Community Center, at 789 N. San Gorgonio Ave.
  • Thursday, March 27:  Beaumont Civic Center, at 550 E. 6th Street.
