Average IE Gas Price Falls To Lowest Amount Since Jan. 30

The average price per gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Sunday to its lowest amount since Jan. 30, falling four-tenths of a cent to $3.791, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased for 25 consecutive days and is 5.3 cents less than one week ago, 17.1 cents lower than one month ago and 86.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 22.2 cents over the past 25 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Saturday. The dropping prices were immediately preceded by a 10-day streak of rising prices totaling 15.8 cents.
