Area Fires Lead to Movies Under the Stars Cancellation
Assuming all the fires get taken care of, the event will resume next week.
Movies Under the Stars has been cancelled because Nobel Creek Park is being used as a fire camp for fire units battling the local fires in Beaumont and Cabazon, according to Diane Gonzalez of the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Parks District.
"Everybody is here from all the different fire departments. it is definitely a camp," Gonzalez said.
Movies will continue next week, assuming the fires are under control.
