My wife and I appreciated the meeting. There were some suggestions made that were directed to theRead Morego od of the entire community - and there were those who were interested in their own concerns. But the next one could well be more visionary. Good move! Don Sax

1. The VA would only help pay all medical IF his illness was 100% service connected. 2. The VARead Morewon' t pay the mortuary of the transport of the body from the hospital to the mortuary. Or coffin. All that is out of pocket. 3. Have you ever tried dealing with the VA? They are horrible to work with and hate paying anything out! 4. How dare you disrespect this man and my friend without even understand the pain and heart break she and her children are going through at this point.

"Berg on the other hand I do not understand. It is a mystery why he would devote so much time Read Moreand energy to Beaumont city growth". The answer is obvious Jack....Berg's fly is open and Alan has a strong grip on Rogers weak spot. It simply feels so good that Roger cant say no.

Probably an offshoot of the Sovereign citizen movement which tries to tweek certain language in the Read MoreConstitution to define themselves as separate and not beholden to the normal laws. They tell their people things just like your neighbor says, but I've secured and cleaned a dozen of those properties with all the postings and declarations. In the end, they likely lose it all. Their's more then a few in the area, maybe they'll respond with a better explanation of what their beliefs are

puerto rico pays no federal tax, but all state citizens are burdened with federal taxes ... if aRead Moreper son never files they would have to make a lot of money before they get the feds' attention... i know people in cali that have never filed state or federal taxes in their lives, but they're poor ... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- my problem with citizens of cali paying federal taxes is that the money is taken out of our state to support other states ....we pay $1.30 for every dollar we receive in federal money....that's the fault of our federal congressmen and senators .... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ we has federal forests, an international border, and 900 miles of coastline....our federal tax dollars should stay in cali for our use on a federal level .....

Danny Thomas owned a house on Cherry Valley Blvd, right across from the old egg ranch. The house is Read Moregone, but the double loop driveway is still there, although it is severely deteriorated. It can be seen on Google Maps,, north side of CV Blvd, a little more than a mile east of I-10. It's actually just east of the proposed Gateway project. It was a single story ranch style house, fairly large size but not overwhelming.

Yes, I kind of wonder also why a person needs to be paid over $100k to do a good job as CityRead MoreManager . The last go-round seems to prove that doesn't work. The last manager was paid almost $300k if this article is right and overstepped his authority and put Banning in jeopardy of lawsuits over the El Paseo project. Even worse than that, he compromised the wishes of the citizens he works for in making unauthorized changes to that project which were to the sole benefit of the developer. Maybe we should hire at $100k and increase it each year that we are happy with their service and the results of the job they do. Any City Manager worth his salt ought to be able to save or produce enough money for the City to cover his increase in salary or he shouldn't get one, would be the logical way to look at it. **** Jeremiah

The city of Bell is asking the court to order the former council members to collectively pay nearly $1 million in restitution....' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ that won't work in beaumont..... all the councilmen are worthless bums that don't have $.15 to their names .... deforge and knight have houses in the developments, but it will cost the taxpayers more to sell them than they're worth...

..."The bad news is that chemical treatments are ineffective. " That's a blatant lie. Read MoreTh e CDC lists at least 2 OTC and 5 Rx treatments that are effective against Lice. This is nothing more than a sales pitch, which I don't have a problem with, other than the outright lie. If you have to lie in order to get customers, then your business doesn't deserve to exist.
