"Berg on the other hand I do not understand. It is a mystery why he would devote so much time Read Moreand energy to Beaumont city growth". The answer is obvious Jack....Berg's fly is open and Alan has a strong grip on Rogers weak spot. It simply feels so good that Roger cant say no.

"..The judge said Rizzo transformed himself into a “godfather of sorts” in Bell,Read Morean all-powerful ruler who plundered the city’s treasury to pay lavish salaries and dole out loans to fellow employees..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what other cities do we know of where the city manager has total control, pays lavash salaries, and doles out personal loans????

Probably an offshoot of the Sovereign citizen movement which tries to tweek certain language in the Read MoreConstitution to define themselves as separate and not beholden to the normal laws. They tell their people things just like your neighbor says, but I've secured and cleaned a dozen of those properties with all the postings and declarations. In the end, they likely lose it all. Their's more then a few in the area, maybe they'll respond with a better explanation of what their beliefs are

the government can't have access to anything belonging to the private citizen without a warrantRead More...a nd they can't get a warrant without probable cause... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- but it's not the state of cali that's charging massive fees and putting restrictions on the private sector - it's the local governments.... it's the duty of the citizens to control their local governments....

I believe that we all deserve a fair and balanced city government that supports equal opportunityRead Morefo r our community. Our battle is not with Libi, yes we all understand the lights are on and nobody is home, however, lets look at the real villains raping our community. In conclusion, who really gives a shit anyways? People can't even present themselves for who they are in our community. People think I'm nuts for voicing my thoughts, I guess some people beg for a living and others make a living.

Good job last night David. At least you tried to interject interest in the CFD fiasco and the city Read Moremanager's no-bid, no transparency approach to outside consulting contracts. Too bad that Alan successfully stalled and Roger pounced and Brenda fell into line with the shut-the-hell-up ruling.

I found it! I just copied the Califa link and searched Banning, Ca. Most of these pictures are inRead Moret he Banning Lib OAC state archives site as well as Beaumont library. Banning's site has 381 pics and Beaumont 347 or so. Some duplications, but still a large collection. Some of the Califa pics had additional info that I will go through one-by-one at a later date... Thank you, Ryan for your help. The "mystery' is still a mystery, lol

Yes, I kind of wonder also why a person needs to be paid over $100k to do a good job as CityRead MoreManager . The last go-round seems to prove that doesn't work. The last manager was paid almost $300k if this article is right and overstepped his authority and put Banning in jeopardy of lawsuits over the El Paseo project. Even worse than that, he compromised the wishes of the citizens he works for in making unauthorized changes to that project which were to the sole benefit of the developer. Maybe we should hire at $100k and increase it each year that we are happy with their service and the results of the job they do. Any City Manager worth his salt ought to be able to save or produce enough money for the City to cover his increase in salary or he shouldn't get one, would be the logical way to look at it. **** Jeremiah

'...Each of the former politicians also is expected to be ordered to pay restitution for theirRead Morecrime s. The city of Bell is asking the court to order the former council members to collectively pay nearly $1 million in restitution....' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ that won't work in beaumont..... all the councilmen are worthless bums that don't have $.15 to their names .... deforge and knight have houses in the developments, but it will cost the taxpayers more to sell them than they're worth...

..."The bad news is that chemical treatments are ineffective. " That's a blatant lie. Read MoreTh e CDC lists at least 2 OTC and 5 Rx treatments that are effective against Lice.
