Three Rings Ranch Elementary PTA Fund-Raiser at Del Taco
Students, teachers, parents and the principal turn out Wednesday at Del Taco on Beaumont Avenue just south of I-10 to raise money for the Three Rings Elementary PTA.

Three Rings Ranch Elementary officials teamed up Wednesday with the Del Taco on Beaumont Avenue to raise money for the school's PTA.
Students, teachers, parents and the principal came to hand out fliers, solicit more customers, and wave to motorists at the busy intersection just south of Interstate 10.
"With the current budget crisis for schools, this is a way to compensate and make up for shortfalls," said Three Rings 5th grade teacher Gabriele Gonzales. "It will help pay for field trips and other activities. Plus it's a good way to interact with parents I wouldn't otherwise meet."
Fundraiser fliers stated 20 percent of sales between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Del Taco, 435 E. 4th St., would go to Three Rings Ranch Elementary.
"It will help pay for field trips, assemblies and awards," said Three Rings Principal Aurora Mendoza Perry. "It's also about Del Taco. They're offering the opporunity. They want to give back to the community and we appreciate it."
