Banning JV Football Beats Rubidoux 26-0 for Shutout Victory on the Road

Broncos varsity squad goes for its first win of the season Friday night against Rubidoux on Banning's new field. Game starts 7p.

The Banning Broncos junior varsity football team defeated Rubidoux's JV team, 26-0, Thursday afternoon in Rubidoux.

Running back Anthony Ellison scored three of the teams four touchdowns and Dashawn Lawton caught a pass for the final touchdown, Banning High parent and booster Shawndi Lawton reported.

A Rubidoux High School official confirmed Banning's JV won 26-0.

Banning's varsity hosts Rubidoux at 7 p.m. Friday in the Mountain Valley League opener for both teams.
