Banning Concert Series to Feature David Bowie Tribute Act
The concert series is presented by the Playhouse Bowl Association and takes place every Thursday at Repplier Park.
A David Bowie tribute artist will perform at this week's "Evenings in the Park" summer concert series in Banning on Thursday.
The concert series is presented by the Playhouse Bowl Association and takes place every Thursday through Aug. 30. Every show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Playhouse Bowl at Repplier Park.
Singer and Guitarist David Brighton, who will be portraying the Thin White Duke, has a long musical history, according to the Playhouse Bowl's website. In addition to replacing guitarist Randy Rhodes on lead guitar in Quiet Riot, Brighton has also portrayed George Harrison with a wide array of Beatles tribute acts.

The Bowie songbook is extensive and features such hits as "Changes," "Space Oddity," "Fame," "Heroes" and "Starman."
Donations are request and concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for grass seating.
